Prospective Undergraduate Students
The Department of Religion and Theology offers a number of opportunities to prospective students:
Major
- Major in Theology -- provides a thorough grounding in Lutheran theology, plus the opportunity to focus studies in theological languages, theological studies, or the liberal arts.
Minors
- Minor in Confessional Lutheranism -- theological studies for students seeking to serve in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod
- Minor in Biblical Languages -- aids student to develop a basic reading knowledge of Biblical Hebrew and New Testament Greek
- Minor in Bible Translation -- introduces students to linguistic theory and the practice of Bible translation
- Minor in Theological Studies -- supplements a student's academic program with a range of courses in Religion and Theology (coming 2009).

- Hippos/Sussita Excavations -- Ongoing archaeological project in the Holy Land
