How to apply

- Apply for a US Department of Education PIN (Takes about 3 days)
- Complete the application at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Complete the Concordia University Application for Cohort-Delivered Studies
- Respond to all financial aid correspondence sent to you.

- Pell for students and families that qualify
- Minnesota State Grant for students and families that qualify.
The above grants require a Concordia Financial Aid Application (2007-08) and a completed FAFSA.
Loans
All loans require a Concordia Financial Aid Application (2007-08) and a completed FAFSA, except for some alternative loans which may have no requirements.

Stafford (assuming the student is independent on the FAFSA)
Freshman (0 -31 credits) $6,625 maximum Sophomore (32-63 credits) $7,500 maximum Junior or Senior (64 or more credits) $10,500 maximum New Borrowers
Previous borrowers: Your Stafford loan for the school year will be processed for the amount listed on your current award unless you notify the financial aid office in writing that you would like to reduce this amount.
There are two types of Stafford loans:
- Subsidized (federal government pays interest while student is in school)
- Unsubsidized (student pays interest while in school or interest accrues)
