Food Shelf

Food Shelf Facts

After more than 20 years in operation, the Concordia University Food Shelf continues to serve a growing number of students. The Food Shelf opens on the first and third Friday of each month from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. to allow income eligible off-campus students and members of the local community to select a bag or two of groceries.

Make a Food Donation to the Concordia Food Shelf

  • Non-Perishable items are accepted.
  • Donations are accepted at any time to the Office for Congregational and Community Relations, AD 242, on the Concordia Campus (enter through the Administration Building).
  • For larger donations, please call to schedule a drop-off time at (651) 603-6273.

Make a Monetary Donation to the Concordia Food Shelf

  • Because food shelves can buy from Second Harvest, your dollar buys up to five times as much food when you donate cash rather than groceries.
  • Mail monetary donations to the Office for Congregational and Community Relations, Concordia University Food Shelf, 275 Syndicate Street North, St. Paul, MN 55104 - Make checks payable to Concordia University Food Shelf.

Presentation

The Office for Congregational and Community Relations also offers an informational PowerPoint presentation titled, "The History, Use and Future of the CSP Food Shelf." There is no cost for this program. To arrange for a presentation at your congregation or event, contact vice president for Congregational and Community Relations, Dr. Edie Jones, by calling (651) 603-6273 or by e-mailing jones@csp.edu
